Update

- midterms! which have gone well for the both of us overall. If I can keep up this pace I just might get an A in my biology class!
- I FINALLY got my admission/rejection letter from the broadcast journalism department: (Andrew was kind enough to go pick it up for me since I was at work so I wouldn't have to wait another day... :) and guess what: I'm in!! So now I just have two years (less if I go spring/summer but we'll see about that..) including an internship. I have an orientation meeting on Thursday so that they can tell me how the major will take over my life, and my schedule for next semester... (and I do realize that that sentence didn't make much grammatical sense). Hopefully it won't interfere too much with work!
- TRANSLATION -- as you likely already know (considering I've been battling with it for almost a month) I took on an extra translation project: translating the Qualtrics website into French. However it took much longer than anticipated (about 50 hours in the end) and a few mishaps along the road (such as deleting 3/4 of the text before even translating it) made it quite the ordeal. But it is FINISHED! And luckily, Andrew again came to the rescue by feeding me and even taking all household responsibilities (all the laundry, the food shopping for the week, cleaning up the entire home, and the list goes on) one weekend so I could just sit at the computer and type away... But in the end I'm sure the extra money will be worth it. And I'm just glad to be done.
- dance-- what else! we have the homecoming parade this weekend (for which we will lindy-hop our way down the street for an hour) and after that we are all (meaning, andrew, his partner, me and my partner) hopping over to a local high school competition.
Crazy but what can I say we chose to do it :)
- We've managed to find some time on weekends though-- and we even went up the mountain (with my found again camera-- thank goodness!) and took some pictures of the almost-gone leaves now.

And that's all for now, pictures to come
